Agility Ability-Norfolk’s Inclusive Canine Agility Club

Agility Ability is an inclusive agility training club which welcomes all standards of dog and trainer, from the absolute beginner wanting to increase the bond between dog and owner, to competitors up to Grade 7 who wish to improve their skills and have fun in a supportive club environment.

Club members organise numerous Independent agility shows throughout the year and these attract a high number of competitors at all levels.  Agility Ability were  granted Kennel Club Listed Status approval in March 2013 to hold agility shows and agility training

Club Ethos

The club ethos prioritises canine welfare.  All training methods are based on positive reinforcement and training is adapted to each dog’s abilities, temperament and physiology.  Owners are helped to understand the connection between their methods and their dog’s behaviour and this understanding enriches their relationship at every level.  Training takes place indoors over the winter and outside in the summer months and careful consideration is given to weather and ground conditions to ensure that all dogs are comfortable and safe during practice

1-2-1 & Group Training

Training can be on an individual basis or in classes.  Some club members choose to have one-to-one lessons and these offer the opportunity to overcome particular issues or to focus on improving specific areas.  Regular lessons offer the additional benefit of learning from others and allowing dogs to socialise safely while encouraging good canine manners.   Many members recommend the club to friends and, as a result, membership has grown to over 60 members.
